Every tooling project is evaluated individually because geometry, material, cavity planning, finish and tolerances influence the solution.
What to provide before tooling quotation
A dimensioned 2D drawing and a suitable 3D file are preferred. If these are not available, a reference sample or clear concept can support an initial discussion, but tooling should not begin until the critical dimensions and design intent are documented. Identify functional surfaces, assembly relationships, appearance areas and any dimensions that require special control.

Design-for-manufacturing review
Before a tool is approved, we may review parting lines, draft and demolding conditions, wall transitions, undercuts, vents, gates, flash-sensitive areas, texture, logo geometry and assembly interfaces. Recommendations are documented for buyer review. Any design change should be reflected in a new drawing revision.
Sample validation and change control
Tool samples are compared with the approved drawing and agreed appearance criteria. The buyer should test the sample in its intended application before approval. If revisions are needed, the effect on tool structure, cost, timing and sample schedule is evaluated before work continues.
Tooling terms to confirm
A clear quotation should address tooling scope, sample quantity, revision limits, ownership, storage, maintenance, expected tool use and replacement responsibility. These details are project-specific. They should not be inferred from a general website statement.

Can you quote from photos only?
Photos may support an initial range or feasibility discussion, but accurate tooling requires dimensions and a controlled design file.
How long does mold development take?
Timing depends on geometry, tool complexity, drawing readiness, revision cycles and sample approval. A project schedule is provided after review.
Can a mold be modified later?
Some changes are possible and others require new tooling. The effect can be assessed only after comparing the requested revision with the existing tool design.
